About Us

We are a team of professional, qualified remote pilots with permissions from the  (CAA) Civil Aviation Authority.

PictaDrone originates from a construction background, taking progress shots of developments, etc. We decided to branch out into all aspects of commercial aerial photography such as roof surveying, property marketing, videography and more.

Each brief is different, so we will tailor a package to fit around your needs.

OUR EQUIPMENT

DJI PHANTOM 4

The Phantom 4 is the 4th generation, with added features such as active tracking, precision hovering and sports mode. If you are wanting to shoot and follow a moving subject such as a car, a runner, boat, etc you can lock onto the subject and the Phantom 4 will follow while still avoiding obstacles in its path.

The camera has capabilities of reaching smooth 4K UHD video with gimbal capable of rotating at 360 degrees.

DJI INSPIRE 2 + ZENMUSE X7

DJI’s Inspire 2 with Zenmuse X7 is a favourite among professional filmmakers, allowing them to capture stunning 6K video from angles they couldn’t reach with standard ground equipment. 

As well as the camera, DJI have added features such as self-heating, allowing drone flight in low temperatures, dual batteries for extended flight and additional sensors allowing the Inspire to detect obstacles from up to 30m away.

MAVIC 2 PRO ENTERPRISE DUAL

The Mavic 2 Enterprise has a dual camera system – optical zoom, for getting close up detailed shots of structures or buildings with low risk and thermal imaging for picking up heat signatures from people, fires, etc.

This device is used by the emergency services as it is a unique tool when analysing fires, missing person cases, monitoring events, etc.
