All of our drone pilots hold current PfCO certificates from the CAA which are renewed annually.
We carry full insurance for all operations including day and night flying.
Each project is unique and will bring its own challenges to reaching the required outcome; while we are unable to give a fixed price for services we are happy to discuss your requirements and provide a tailored quotation on request.
Yes. Small Unmanned Aircrafts (SUA) must stay within the boundaries below:
- 400ft/120m above ground level
- 500m away from the pilot, but visual line of sight must be maintained
- 50m away from persons or structures. This may be reduced subject to appropriate agreements being in place
- 150m away and no flyover allowed in congested areas or at crowded events (1,000 people or more)
All drones have their limitations and are generally unable to fly in wet or windy conditions greater than a moderate breeze (20 knots). We are only able to operate within the capabilities of the drone and a flight may not be able to proceed at a given time. However, we will be able to advise on this as the date approaches and will reschedule accordingly where possible.
Additional restrictions may be present in the vicinity of airfields and in military exercise areas.
Yes, our CAA PfCO allows us to fly at both day and night.
